At the 2024 Michigan Energy Summit celebrated 10 years of the Michigan Battle of the Buildings competition. The 2025 summit will be a spectacular celebration of its own as we head into our second decade of energy savings.

The full-day conference will feature the Michigan Battle of the Buildings Award Ceremony where the 2024 Biggest Losers will be awarded for their energy conservation achievements. The day will include guest speakers, breakout sessions, and concluded in a happy hour sponsored by the Detroit Lions!

2024 michigan battle of the buildings

The Michigan Battle of the Buildings is an awards and recognition program for energy use reduction open to all Michigan area commercial, industrial & multi-family buildings. The program is a way to encourage energy-efficient practices in buildings across the state and to instill a spirit of friendly competition among the area’s building owners and operators.
