Detroit 2030 District
Working together to promote and reach the goals of the Architecture 2030 Challenge for Planning
About:
The Detroit 2030 District is a part of a national movement to create high-performance buildings districts to reduce the environmental impacts of building construction and operations while increasing owners' return on investment and promoting economic development in the community. The Detroit 2030 District has over 24 million SF committed to the program, 32 businesses supporting it and over 40 like-minded nonprofits working together to reduce energy and water usage in commercial buildings, as well as transportation GHG emissions and stormwater. The Detroit 2030 District has a very robust educational calendar for building members and has a dedicated best practices group for venues and museums as well as houses of worship. Join the movement by learning what you can do to create a healthy, sustainable Detroit. Visit 2030districts.org/Detroit for more information.
